The chairman of the FCT Secondary Education Board, Muhammad Musa Yahaya, has paid an unscheduled visit to the four senior secondary schools in Bwari Area Coucli of the FCT, to access the level of facilities across the schools.
The visit was in continuation of the chairman’s assessment of senior secondary schools and also the level of performance of students, evaluation of the level of infrastructure as well as focused on punctuality and impactful teaching by teachers of the affected schools.
Some of the schools visited by the chairman are Government Secondary Schools Bwari, Government Day School Bwari, Government Day Secondary School Dutse, and Government Girls Secondary School Dutse.
Speaking during the inspection, Yahaya said, ‘’it is imperative for the board to ensure senior secondary schools move with the tide of time to provide a very conducive and acceptable learning environment to the students, it will help the student to discover their potentials and develop it in the course of learning.”
He said the FCT administration through the education Board, was poised in providing good learning environment without compromising its standard.
During his visit, the chairman inspected the level of infrastructure in within the students hostels, kitchen, toilets ,dining hall, staffroom and classrooms with the hope of providing additional facilities where there is need and urged the pupils and staff to use the available resources judiciously as well as imbibe the culture of maintenance.
