The conclusion of the United States’ Criminal Investigation Agency (CIA) when confirmed will lead to international action against the Saudi Crown Prince, Mohammad Bin Salman over the murder of Khashoggi.
The analyst, Naseer al-Omari says the CIA report regarding the involvement of Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman in the murder of dissident journalist Jamal Khashoggi could end his political life if confirmed.
Al-Omari in a live interview with Press TV on Saturday monitored by GovernanceNews said, “If this is true, there is no way Bin Salman could come back. This is a leading security and investigating agency in the US and their conclusion will definitely calls for international action.
“The report had already said that Bin Salman had personally given the order to kill a journalist. With this really he is not coming back from this politically,” he added.
He also expressed fear that other countries may even use the situation to hammer Saudi Arabia at the international fora. “And I am afraid this is going to escalate the countries who want to explore this issue. It really can’t get any worst from this point, politically,” he said.
“Literally, I believe the Prince is over. I am afraid he would be subjected to internal demand for justice. So, this is really a very bad fight for Bin Salman,” he concluded.
