President Muhammadu Buhari at a public Town-Hall meeting on Wednesday night declined question on the bribery allegation leveled against Kano State Governor, Abdullahi Ganduje.
The meeting was organised for political parties and their candidates to sell their Manifesto, as the nation prepares for the 2019 General election.
Vice-president Yemi Osibajo also featured at the event which was moderated by Kadaria Ahmed.
When the president was asked to speak on the bribery allegation, Buhari said, he doubts the authenticity of the video stressing that he cannot speak on the matter as the case was currently going through legislative and judicial process.
The president said, he has seen the video and jokingly added that the governor could have sent someone he trust to help him collect the money instead of doing it himself.
“The State Assembly is investigating and they have the mandate to deal with it and they have also gone to court, so I decided not to talk about it.
“The system has given me some relief, it is in the court and the Assembly,” he added.
