The All Progressive Congress (APC) candidate in the forthcoming presidential elections, Muhammadu Buhari has postponed his campaign rally to Zamfara state, slated for Sunday.
Buhari, a serving president seeking for second term bid was supposed to go to Zamfara state for his presidential campaign, but has however shifted it to a date which woukl announced later.
Although no tentative reason was given as the reason for the postponement of his campaign, however, many believed that the postponement may have link to the crisis rocking his party, the APC in the State.
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) had on Friday released the final list of candidates for the March 2, Governorship and State House of Assembly election without the names of APC candidates from Zamfara.
Special Adviser to the Presidential on Media, Femi Adesina confirmed the postponement but did not give further details on why Buhari decided to postponed the rally this Sunday.
