Election: So far, APC leads PDP with four states in governorship seats as INEC announce results

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has so far declared winners of the just concluded  governorship elections in 22 of 29 states that elections held last saturday.

Also INEC has declared elections inconclusive in five states namely, Kano, Sokoto, Benue, Bauchi, and Plateau.

The apex electoral body has also suspended all electoral processes in Rivers state due to wide spread violence., while Adamawa State results were yet to be declared

In the results released so far the  the party in power; All Progressives Congress (APC) clinched 13 states ahead of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) which has nine.

In the results released so far, the APC clinched Kaduna, Katsina, Borno, Yobe, Gombe, Nasarawa and Jigawa.

Other states include Kebbi, Niger, Lagos, Ogun, Zamfara and Kwara

The PDP on the other hand emerged victorious in the states of Abia, Enugu, Ebonyi, Delta, and Cross-River.

Others include Imo, Oyo, Taraba and Akwa-Ibom.
