The Kano State Governor Abdulahi Ganduje says, he is not aware of the newly established Northern security network code-named operation ‘Shege-Ka-Fasa’.
The Governor said, his state had invested heavily in security at various levels adding that it would be unnecessary to consider any other external arrangement.
Governor Ganduje stated this while addressing State House Correspondents after leading some high profile personalities from Kano state to pay a courtesy visit on President Muhammadu Buhari at the Presidential Villa, on Friday in Abuja.
He noted that the state’s security architecture had turned Kano into a trap for criminals.
He said, the state had provides conducive environment for the security agencies, stressing that Command and Control Centre was established where security agencies communicate with one another.
He maintained that the state has constructed army training Centre at Falgore, which he said is the “biggest forest in the country”.
He said about N500 million had been committed to the project.
The Governor also said his administration’s free and compulsory education from basic to secondary levels was already yelling good result as it is currently addressing the dual menace of mass out of school children and early girl child marriage.
